The Cuillin Mountains

Glamaig in the morning mist

We have now, for a quite a few years, extended a warm welcome

to walkers and climbers staying at Crossal House.

From the front of the house an extensive view of the peaks of the Black Cuillin can be seen.

Sgurr nan Gillean, with its famous Pinnacle Ridge, Am Basteir and Bruache na Frithe

dominate the skyline.

To the east, the mighty Red Cuillin stand proud with their soft rounded contours to their steep sides.

We offer;

Hearty breakfasts

Packed lunches

To make your adventure in the Cuillin Mountains more enjoyable and safe

we recommend the use of a mountain guide to accompany you.

We have two friends who are experienced guides (and members of Skye Mountain Rescue)

with extensive knowledge of the hills.

Please ask for more details, or see their websites;
